Friends of Mount Worth State Park

The Friends of Mt Worth was formed in 1981 under the leadership of Jack Brooks. Jack was a local farmer, self-taught naturalist and passionate advocate for the establishment of the Park. His determination to conserve this precious remnant of rainforest has left a legacy for all of us to enjoy today.

The Friends work in partnership with Park Rangers. We share a love of the Park and a desire to protect its unique features for the benefit of all those who come to visit.

The Friends meet on the 1st Sunday of every month at 10 am at the Moonlight Creek Picnic Area.

Friends of Mount Worth have produced printable brochures on the plants and birds you are likely to see around Mount Worth State Park.
